The Series has Garnered Positive Reviews So Far

Napolitano previously described the story’s inspiration, saying, “This story just frightened me.” I could not imagine how the boy would be OK, and I could feel from the stickiness of my obsession that I would have to write a book that would create a set of circumstances to make him OK.
