Art Steinhafel, age 78, of Grand Rapids, Michigan, passed away on March 3, 2019. Art was born on August 12, 1940, in Detroit, Michigan, to Max and Frieda (nee Frank) Steinhafel. He was a graduate of Cass Technical High School and Wayne State University.
Art was the beloved husband of Sharon (nee Cohen) for 54 years; loving father of David (Linda), Steven (Susan), and Gary (Karen); proud grandfather of 7 grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents and sister Judy Kroll.
A funeral service will be held on Sunday, March 10 at 1:00 p.m. at Steve Lyons Funeral Home with interment to follow at Hebrew Memorial Park Cemetery. The family will receive friends Sunday from 12:00-1:00 p.m. prior to the service at the funeral home.
